Worship With Us
Sunday morning worship services are held at 8:30, 9:40, and 11:00 a.m. We have over 20 adult Sunday School classes to choose from at all three times. The 9:40 and 11:00 a.m. services include children’s sermons except on communion Sundays. Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month in all three services. Although we encourage children of all ages to attend worship with their families, we do offer childcare for preschoolers during all services. The nursery/preschool area is located directly behind the narthex on the same level as the sanctuary.
All students in grades 7-12 are invited to attend Sunday School at 9:40 or 11:00 a.m. The Sunday School program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade is offered from 9:40-10:40 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.-12 noon. All children gather in the chapel for opening assembly, then proceed to classrooms by grade level groups for experiential learning.
“Element,” our version of United Methodist Youth Fellowship, is held each Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at the Owings Life Enrichment Center. Contact Jason Baker at jbaker@germantownumc.org for more information.
