The United Methodist Men is the organization within the United Methodist Church which is solely devoted to the men of the church. We seek to deepen our relationship with God through fellowship, service, and study. Men of all ages are members of the United Methodist Men. All men in our congregation are strongly encouraged to participate by attending monthly meetings (second Saturday morning, September-May). Be a part of something great! Join other men as we dream and plan, working together on projects that support ministries such as Habitat for Humanity, First Works, SASHA, United Methodist Neighborhood Centers, Starfish Ministry, and others.
United Methodist Men’s Breakfast, Saturday, February 11 at 8:00 a.m. Rev. Rick Pinkston, director of the Wesley Foundation at the University of Memphis and Mark Tate, Chairman of the Board, will be our guest speakers. The cost is $5 each payable at the door. Sonrise Men’s Prayer Group. Guys, join the Men’s Sonrise Prayer on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:15 a.m. in Room 339 as Eric McCreight leads a study on Max Lucado’s book Traveling Light.Max Lucado will walk us through our inventory of our burdens and remind us that God wants us to release these burdens and keep our ego in check. Men’s Wednesday Morning Prayer Group (6:30-7:00 a.m., Room 339). Would you like a mid week pick me up? Each Wednesday morning a group of men get together at 6:30 a.m. for a short lesson and to discuss prayer concerns. We finish promptly at 7:00 a.m. We would love to have you be a part of our group.
