Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Psalm 96
Music is a natural and joyful extension of worship. Music is essential to all worship at GUMC – our services feature everything from modern Christian rock in our Ancient-Modern service to hymns of the faith both well known and new. A variety of choirs, including bell choirs, are available for members to join.

Let your voices ring out in celebration of the majesty of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit who comforts us! We celebrate the Lord every Sunday and practice diligently to bring our best praise to the worship services.
This non-auditioned choir welcomes all who love to sing and who will commit to attending Wednesday rehearsals and Sunday worship. The choir is a place of service and stewardship of talent, time, and witness. Those who have sung in high school and college choirs will find the Chancel Choir to be a fellowship within a large congregation and a great place to participate in the leadership of worship, while singing a wide variety of repertoire. Childcare is provided for all Wednesday evening rehearsals.
In addition to its weekly worship leadership role, the Chancel Choir presents special programs during the church year, notably the Community Carol Festival during the Christmas season. This event, a favorite of our congregation, welcomes the season with familiar carols as well as more extensive choral works.
Praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. (Psalm 150:5)
