The teen years mark a key transitional stage in life. Moving from childhood to adulthood can be a challenging time, but God uses times of change to bring great growth. Our Student Ministry staff and volunteers want to come alongside parents—helping young men and women know God more intimately, share and defend their faith, serve others, and develop deep relationships.

The goal of our 6th grade Confirmation program is to integrate our 6th grade youth not only into the life of the church but also into our youth program. Unlike many Confirmation programs, our program is fully open to 6th graders. We believe they should be a part of Middle School Ministry, as they are middle school youth. This means that they can be a participant in any and all activities that we do as a Youth Ministry. Our hope in setting our program up this way is that when they connect with us in 6th grade they will then stay connected throughout middle and high school and on into their adult lives.
