GUMC is hosting a food drive on November 9, 16, and 23 to support our friends at the Asbury UMC Food Pantry.
A collection table will be set up outside the Fellowship Hall and at Prism each week for donations. In addition to Sunday giving you can participate in the Food Drive by bringing your gifts to the congregational Thanksgiving Dinner which takes place at 5:30 on Wednesday, November 19th.
Items most needed include:
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Canned meat (any kind)
- Canned fruit
- Green vegetables (except green beans)
- Brownie or muffin mix
- Crackers
- Jello or pudding mix
- Oatmeal
*Canned foods should be ones with a pull tab *
You can also give financially by clicking HERE or make checks payable to GUMC with a note that it’s for the Asbury UMC Food Pantry. Kroger and Walmart gift cards are also greatly appreciated.
