Many of the best-known passages in all of scripture are part of The Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon is the lengthiest discourse of Jesus in all of the New Testament. In it we read the Beatitudes, the Salt & Light metaphors, the Lord’s Prayer, the Wise and Foolish Builders and many other prominent passages. This study will examine both the devotional and instructional meanings of this great sermon. We hope you will join with other members of our church family in this in-depth examination of this great portion of scripture.
