The Means of Grace

10:00 – 11:30 A.M
Teacher: Rev. Rick Pinkston
Cost: FREE

One phrase you might hear United Methodists use often is “Means of Grace”, but what does that phrase mean? The Means of Grace are vital practices we engage in every day to deepen our relationship with God, live out the teachings of Christ, and allow the Holy Spirit to grant us renewed hope and strength in our spiritual journey. They include Prayer, Searching the Scriptures, Christian Conferencing (or Conversation), Fasting, Sacraments (The Lord’s Supper and Baptism) and Acts of Mercy.

This six-week study will look at Grace as the cornerstone of the United Methodist Church’s understanding of the way God relates to humankind. Join Rick Pinkston as together we will see how we can take these practices out of theoretical consideration and incorporate them into our living so that we might experience God and God’s grace more fully.

There is no cost for the study, but we do need you to register.
