CDC Offers Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated People
CDC and Shelby County Issue New Guidelines for Fully Vaccinated People. If you have received a full course of COVID–19 vaccine and waited 2 weeks after receiving your second shot or your first shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.Masks are still highly recommended. Masks must be worn if:
•A “mask must be worn” note is posted•It’s a requirement of a private business
•Entering Federal property
•On public transportation
•You are not vaccinated and around people who don’t live with you.
If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, find a vaccine. Until you are vaccinated, wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart, and wash your hands. If you are fully vaccinated, remember you can still be infected with or “carry” the virus that causes COVID–19while not feeling sick or having symptoms. Please read the June Tidings for a more detailed article.
